Ankle sprains are common across both active and inactive folks. Up to 70% of people who have formerly sprained their ankles may develop residual physical disability, which may include chronic ankle instability. The myofascial tissues of the lower leg deserve a regular amount of rolling “leg work” in order to address the challenges of soft tissue imbalances. This class provides much kneaded rollouts to help your ankles and calves to be at their best so that your feet and ankles are better able to carry their load.
Benefits: Shin splints, ankle mobility, squat depth, ease of walking.
Props used for this class: YTU Therapy Balls, Therapy Ball PLUS Pair, ALPHA Ball, Blocks, Stool or Chair
After doing the Ankles All Day: A Lower Leg Tune Up class, we recommend you also do the following classes from the Replay Library:
Both these class pairings offer fun ways to challenge your single leg balance and stability. They also round out your week by adding more of your body's parts into the movement mix.
LIVE Interactive Zoom Call for this Class (only with subscription): April 13th; 10am PT
