As a high school student in the mid 80’s, you could find me rocking the Jane Fonda Workout after school, or taking classes at the only aerobics studio in Santa Fe. I loved the sweat, the music and “the burn.” But my love for yoga was stronger and ultimately I found that I was better suited to teaching mind-body slow style classes. Now in my 50’s, I’ve returned to some of my High Intensity roots in order to support my own health and the health of my students. This second class in my HIIT-ish category aims to support you with precovery and recovery rollouts as well as safely navigate an embodied on-ramp for super fun, health building intensity.

Props used for this class: Coregeous Ball, YTU Therapy Ball, Therapy Ball PLUS Pair, ALPHA Twins, Wall, Block, Yoga Mat

After doing the HIIT-ish: More Conscious Conditioning  class, we recommend you also do the following classes from the Replay Library:

You're looking to adapt to a new practice right? Try your HIIT classes three days apart from each other, throw in the Leg Stretch Class in between, the perfect blend of stimulus/recovery.

In the next phase of MOVE, BREATHE, ROLL, Jill focuses on common myths and misperceptions of practice that still persist in yoga and movement classrooms today. Each class tackles a myth that unrolls like a sticky mat when you filter it through anatomy, kinesiology and physiology. Join Jill on this fun myth-busting journey that also translates into other popular movement forms including pilates, CrossFit and Instagram Inspo. Each class will attempt to unpack a myth from a historical/contextual lens and take you through Tune Up Fitness movement practices that help your body to be a lab of curiosity, discovery and mirth.
