Every thorough exploration begins with connection. In order to create a clear connection between the mind and body, we must eliminate certain habits and distractions, then wipe the slate clean. During this Module, you will participate in Tina’s 14th annual Post-Holiday Mindful Cleanse.Together, we will focus on healthy habits and nourishing food to kickstart a year of wellbeing and prosperity. During this Module, you will also dive into Neuroscience:discovering ways to prevent or treat problems that affect the brain, nervous system, and body through yoga, meditation and breathing techniques. With this new science on how the brain is affected by your practice, you’ll deepen your experience with meditation, excelling to the next level of heightened awareness through Jnana Yoga, (the path of knowledge and self-realization). This Module will be a chance for you to contemplate your body, mind and life from a new and improved vantage point!

Topics in this Module will include, but are not limited to: 
  • Diet & Nutrition
  • Yoga Philosophy/Ayurveda 
  • Neuroscience
  • Yoga Psychology; 7 Mind Traps/Viveka (clear perception)
  • Heal the body, mind and planet; reducing carbon footprint
  • Mindfulness 
  • The study of anatomy and physiology along with its application to yoga practice(benefits, contraindications, healthy movement patterns, etc.).

Each class will include: 
सधना Sadhana (ritual), yoga asana, meditation, pranayama (breathing techniques), neuroscience, book study, composition, mind/body cleanse, lecture and discussion

Tuesdays: 5:30-9pm
1 Saturdays: 10am-1pm*
4 Sundays: 3-5:30pm**

Note: Sundays are the Post-Holiday Mindful Cleanse Program required for 300 hr students
