Transcend Module 2: Welcome to the Physical & Spiritual Body

In this Module, we’ll roll out the map of the body and gain a deeper understanding of our insides: Anatomy, Physiology and how they pertain to our yoga poses (asana). Learn proper alignment and how to strategically and intuitively link movements together to create a seamless flow for yourself or your classes. You will journey deep into the subtle body to demystify the CHAKRAS and through this exploration, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of habitual emotions, thought tendencies and chosen habits. Learn to heal, reconnect and realign the Self for optimal health and well-being.

Topics in this Module will include, but are not limited to: 
  • Human physical anatomy and physiology (bodily systems, organs, etc.)
  • Energy anatomy and physiology (chakras, nadis, etc.).
  • The study of anatomy and physiology along with its application to yoga practice(benefits, contraindications, healthy movement patterns, etc.).

Each class will include: 
सधना Sadhana (ritual), yoga asana, meditation, pranayama (breathing techniques), structural alignment, variations and contraindications, hands on adjustments, sequencing, lecture and discussion

Note: 10/26 (10am-1pm) is a 3 hr. workshop open to the public, “DeMystifying the Chakras” - a required program for 300hr participants
