Restorative Yoga

Finding time in our daily lives to relax, de-stress, and renew is essential to living well. Expect to hold 4-7 nurturing restorative poses during this class. We will be exploring rest, safe reorientation with our bodies, meditation and gentle breath work. This practice will be supported by many props: bolsters (option to use pillows if you are at home), blocks, lots of blankets and occasionally straps. The use of props helps provide a supportive environment to allow for total relaxation and encourages the feeling of being held.  This class is open to all levels of yoga experience and beginners are always welcome and highly encouraged to join. It is recommended to wear comfortable and warm clothing as we lean into stillness and ease.

Restorative yoga is based on the teachings of B.K.S Iyengar.
