Practice the art of moving the body in order to prepare for relaxation. Class starts with 30-40 minutes of flowing movement often featuring sun salutations, standing poses and some core work. The second half of class introduces students to the restorative yoga practice. In this style of practice we re-learn the art of relaxation by holding comfortable poses supported by props (bolsters, blocks and blankets) for 5-10 minutes at a time.
Everyone is welcome in this class. Beginners are encouraged.
