Practice the art of moving the body in order to prepare for meditation. Class starts with 40-45 minutes of flowing movement to release energy and prepare our body and mind for the state of meditation. The movement portion of class will often feature sun salutations, standing poses and some core work. Each class will focus on different styles of meditation — guided, quiet, yoga nidra, metta or others. Move & Meditate is great for students looking to incorporate more meditation and mindfulness into their practice while maintaining the opportunity to actively move.
