Friday Flow Down at Waterworks Park!

-

at Waterworks Park (235 Penny Lane Burlington, VT 05401)

Friday Flow Down has moved outside for the season to Waterworks Park on the Waterfront. Practice is a yummy blend of upbeat movement and soothing stretching to decompress from the week and kickoff the weekend!

Classes encourage self-expression and exploration through movement, meditation, and music. You'll be ready to take on the weekend at whatever speed you need.

Everyone is welcome in this class.

Some Important Details:

  • Preregistration is highly encouraged. It helps the teacher when you do!

  • Location: Waterworks Park is located the waterfront, to the left of the Moran Plant aka "The Frame", and right behind the City’s Water Treatment Facility at 235 Penny Lane. Please see map for detailed instructions on how to find! Seasonal restrooms are located at the Burlington Harbor Marina (near Echo), but there is a porta potty conveniently placed on the pathway to the park.

  • Parking:  Parking is available on Lake Street and the Lake Street extension (in front of the Skatepark). We encourage travel on foot or by bike!

  • Bathrooms are located at the Burlington Harbor Marina, just south of the park.

  • No-show Policy: We ask that if for any reason you aren't able to make it to an outdoor class that you are registered for, that you cancel your reservation through Union.fit at least 1 hour before the class start time. This gives enough time for someone else to sign up for class and attend.

  • If there is bad weather (too cold, too wet, or heat index above 90 degrees), class will take place inside the Pine studio! We will send an email to all registrants at least 60-minutes in advance of the class start time if we choose to move the class inside & will appropriately adjust the name & location of the class. If you're pre-registered for class, just make sure to keep an eye on your email!

  • Don't forget the little things! There are limited mats available & no props, thus bring what you'd like for your practice. You may want to bring things like a water bottle, bug spray, or sunscreen.

  • More details will be sent to you via email receipt when you pre-register for class. Make sure to check them out! <3
