at Mairin McCracken (1075 Market St San Francisco, CA 94109)
This event has ended.
We're meeting up for a groovy rooftop flow in downtown San Francisco. This one is special- we'll be moving to a live DJ set by Devin Inabinet (@Devcloud). And, because we're sad Bay to Breakers can't happen this year, we'll be in costume (read: not nude, though. Please leave your birthday suits at home :) ).
Arrival time is between 12:45 and 12:55- we'll get flowing by 1 pm! Doors open at 12:45.
There will be prizes for best costumes. The prize may or may not be from our favorite beverage company, Aprés.
**Lookout for an email with location info two days before the event!**
100% of our proceeds will be going towards SFCASA. CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) supports foster youth by advocating in court hearings and in youth's daily lives. Funds from this event will go towards ensuring all Bay Area youth in the foster care system (approx. 800 pp) have safe and permanent housing and the resources they need to thrive.
The Karuna Series is a series of yoga classes that raises funds for local non profits, in an effort to build stronger connections within our Bay Area community. The Karuna Series is named after the sanskrit term Karuna, which means compassion in action.
Help us hit our goal of $1,000!
*In addition to the funds from this event being donated to SFCASA, Mairin is also donating 10% of all profits from her Union.fit classes between April 25th and May 23rd.
*If you feel inspired to donate a little extra to SFCASA, venmo Mairin (Mairin-McCracken) with the comment "Karuna for SFCASA" OR donate directly at www.sfcasa.org/support and send Mairin a screenshot so she can add it to the final count.
