Beginning a yoga practice can be intimidating, we know it takes courage to try something new. Our intention with this 4 week series is to give you the foundations to begin a regular yoga practice and the confidence to join our group classes. There is truly something for everyone, so throughout this 4 week course you can expect introductions into physical postures, transitions, and alignment; guided breath-work and meditation techniques; and an introduction to the philosophy of yogic practices on and off the mat. 

In this 4 week series, you will get introduced to the basics of yoga. Courtney will guide an exploration of mindful movements, sun salutations, and discuss ways to adjust and set yourself up for a practice that supports longevity and helps to avoid injury for all body types. This class will also introduce you to breathing techniques, bandhas, connecting with energy, and mediation. You will come out of this series with a deeper understanding of yoga and more confidence in your yoga practice.
