Kula Quickie: It's A Block Party

After moving to Tribeca twenty years ago, I stumbled upon a premie Kula on the way to the train. I went, was hands down hooked by the first hip opener, and the rest is history. I started teaching at Kula in 2005 ...
(Suggested props: 2 blocks and a wall space)

If you have 2 blocks and a wall grab them, but if you have nothing you can still easily do this class. We will put the blocks under the hands and feet at the wall for poses like down dog, plank, uttansana and a squat. You will also do a warrior 2, a moon salutation and sun salutations to prep you for a backbend later in class. You will stand and balance on blocks (or not if that seems crazy!) and do a handstand where you can up level yourself if you choose. It's a fun one!
