A 3 month Journey into the Embodiment of Yoga
Tantric Hatha Yoga is a comprehensive style of yoga that utilizes asana, pranayama, bandhas, mudras, kriyas, visualization, mantra, philosophy and meditation in an energetically themed class. The intention is to support personal growth and the cultivation of stillness and harmony within the body, mind, and spirit. From this place we begin to illuminate the True Self and embody the deeper principles of Yoga.
The profundity of Tantric Yoga lies within the ability to evoke specific energetics through intentional sequencing of Yogic Tools. This allows the practitioner to tune into the inner landscape and deepen into the embodiment of these Yogic Principles taking them from a place of conceptual understanding to experiential inner-standing.

- Module 1: Apana Vayu - Downward flowing energy, Root Chakra, Earth Energy, Stability, Support, Safety
- Module 2: Agni- Digestive Fire, Spiritual and Emotional Digestion, Solar Plexus Chakra, Empowerment, Confidence
- Module 3: Brahmana- Expansive, Energizing, Unchanging, Infinite, Transcendental
Additional Info
We will spend 3 weeks on each module. The first week of every module we will introduce the concept and have open discussion for 30 minutes prior to a 90 minute practice. The format of each practice will be 60 minutes of Asana, 15 minutes of guided relaxation, and 15 minutes of meditation.
The second and third class of each module will consist of a short philosophical teaching of the concept followed by a 90 minute practice.
The final class we will have an "after party" and time to share our thoughts, experiences and to ask any questions.
This class is open to all levels of Yoga though it is recommended to have some previous experience. If you feel the call, please do not let your skill level deter you. These classes are advanced in Principle, not physical difficulty. The 60 minute asana is designed to lead you into deeper meditation so that you may develop your ability to sit in stillness for longer periods of time.
