Foundations of Yoga: Building Your Practice from the Ground Up is a 4-week series designed to give you the tools, confidence, and knowledge to begin—or deepen—your yoga practice. Each 75-minute class will focus on the essential building blocks of yoga, giving you a solid foundation to continue your practice with clarity and ease.

Over the course of four Fridays in January, we’ll explore key postures, alignment principles, and breathing techniques in a supportive, beginner-friendly environment. You’ll learn how to move safely and mindfully through poses, and how to connect with your body and breath to create a deeper sense of awareness and relaxation.

Whether you're brand new to yoga or looking to refresh your practice, this series is designed to help you build a strong foundation that will support your growth in future classes. With each session, you’ll feel more confident in your body and more connected to the calming, energizing power of yoga.

What to Expect:
Week 1: Asana Orientation: Orient beginners to breath awareness and yoga postures.
Week 2: Asana and Pranayama Introduction: Introduce students to pranayama and learn more about asana.
Week 3: Asana and Pranayama Workshop: Rather than flow in a set sequence, we will take time to experiment with different approaches to poses and breath work as well as learn how to incorporate yoga props into your practice.
Week 4: Asana and Pranayama Fundamentals: This class will focus on cultivating fundamental skills to enhance your alignment and technique.

Each session will include time for questions and hands-on guidance from the instructor, so you can feel supported as you progress through the series.

- Comfortable clothes for movement
