Tuesdays Chair Yoga

This class will help you stretch the body, reduce stress, reduce pain & clear the mind.

Chair yoga is a practice that is beneficial to all. Using the support of a simple chair to create accessible modifications you will find better mobility, increased strength, and better balance. 

Flourish Chair Yoga makes an effective yoga practice accessible to people who have physical limitations, or those who find other types of yoga classes too challenging. Chair yoga can also serve as a great introduction to yoga for those who are first-time yogis!

While seated comfortably in a chair, students can enjoy versions of twists, hip stretches, forward bends, and mild backbends. In addition to a good stretch, chair yoga participants can enjoy other health benefits from yoga, including improved muscle tone, better breathing habits, reduction of stress, better sleep, and a sense of well-being.
