Summer Solstice Yoga Nidra

Summer is when the vitality of life is most fully charged as longer sun-filled days usher in energy-filled experiences that elevate us physically, mentally and emotionally.  To help balance this extra charge of energy, Yoga Nidra can be used to help steady  our awareness in the present moment and ease the body, mind and senses. Using verbal cues and breath, I will guide you to soften the muscles of your body and soften into a reprieve from the chatter of your thoughts  in order to enjoy a refreshed sense of being, a fortified connection with yourself and the peace + joy that reside within. 

This practice will begin with simple stretches, movement and breathing before we ease into Yoga Nidra which will be experienced resting in Savasana. No yoga experience is required and all you’ll need is your mat, your comfiest yoga attire as well as blankets, pillows, an eye cover, and cozy socks to make yourself as comfortable as possible.
