Health is precious and there is much we can do to cultivate health and healing, including meditation.  This November, we will focus on specific mantra and meditative techniques to aid in healing and apply simple lifestyle exercises for optimal health or preventative medicine.

  • Week 1 – What is health according to yoga & Ayurveda and how to actualize it on the most basic level and through meditation.
  • Week 2 – Taking ownership of our health and healing. An exercise in developing a positive habit outside of our formal study.
  • Week 3 – Reflection on our healing exercise (week 2). Learn a foundational mantra and how to apply it to balance the entire system.
  • Week 4 – Patanjali tells us that in our heart, there is a light that is beyond all sorrow. This timeless light is free from all affliction and a source of spiritual healing. Practice this unique meditation.

Derik Eselius (ERYT-1000) – A student of tantra, raja & karma yoga for nearly 30 years, he makes ancient yogic knowledge both accessible and practical for the modern yogi.  Learn the deeper principles and how to apply them. Some experience with yoga is helpful but not required.
