This tween/teen program for girls promotes inner and outer strength through
flowing sequences, restorative yoga postures and deep relaxation, and
journaling, all in a safe, be yourself, no judgment environment. Entering and
navigating teen years brings specific challenges. Yoga provides a variety of tools
for this tender time in girls’ development physically, emotionally, and socially.
Yoga supports teens as they grow by providing a community practice that builds
body awareness and body image, emotional strength, stress reduction, and
freedom to explore their challenges and successes in all aspects of their lives.
Optional class supplies: journal or blank paper, writing utensils such as
markers, pen, or pencil, yoga mat, blanket, yoga blocks.
