Baby and Me Yoga (6 weeks -non walkers): This class is designed to strengthen the bond between you and your baby, help fight those “post baby blues”, and introduce you to a community of new parents. Taking into careful consideration the needs of the body postpartum, this class focuses on both relaxation and building strength (particularly toning the abs and rebuilding pelvic floor muscles after pregnancy and birth). You will leave feeling rejuvenated and energized.  
 
This class is 45 minutes long with an extra 15 minutes after class to play and meet other class participants.  Babies have sporadic schedules, we totally understand. Please feel free to come into class late or leave at any point.  Baby sleeping in car seat by your mat while you practice? Absolutely fine too! The class is designed to allow for a nursing, diaper changes, and soothing your baby, while giving you the yoga tools to take care of YOU.
 
Join us outdoors this summer at Minot Rose Park under the shady trees. In case of rain or extreme heat, class will be held in the studio at Coolidge Yoga. Please bring a blanket for your baby along with a favorite toy.
