Start your week off right! Enjoy building steadiness, stamina, and insight through this lively, mischievous and inclusive moderate-flow class! Expect irreverent devotion and serious playfulness as we integrate yoga’s time-tested wisdom with recent insights from neuroscience, psychology, and this wacky world we share.
Each week, we’ll explore a different theme, connecting a central concept to the sequence we’re playing with. Together we’ll tune into yoga’s spirit of self-actualization through dedicated practice - always and also for the sake of the greater good.

Perhaps this class will help deepen your felt-sense commitment to what matters most - or maybe your focus is entirely on expanding your range of motion, building strength and flexibility, and cultivating balance.Whether you’ve been practicing yoga for 20+ years or you’ve never been on a yoga mat before, this class is for you if you might enjoy a moderate pace, lingering in certain poses, and a mix of familiar and intriguing movement sequences drawn from classical yoga and other somatic approaches too.

You can expect:
  • A warm welcome exactly as you are, in the body you're in today, which is perfect and wonderful, no matter what. This is a size-inclusive class, and those in larger bodies are specifically welcome.
  • An inventive mix of movements, including standing, balancing, seated, at-the-wall, and on the ground.
  • No super-speedy vinyasa flows here! We will use a slightly slower pace.
  • But don’t be fooled! This is a moderate-intensity class where you can opt to build strength and stamina to by moving vigorously, using repetition, settling in deeper, and/or experimenting with demanding poses.
  • There will also be moments of rejuvenation and contemplation throughout class - and an invitation to drop into rest whenever it feels good.
  • You’ll be invited to explore the appropriate edge for you, moment to moment - keeping in mind that your edge might be learning to back off. Cultivating this discernment, in real time, helps fortify us to use this critical skill elsewhere.
  • Information about using props to provide access, intensify sensation, and/or relieve stress in certain poses - and suggestions for intentional alignment, knowing that human anatomy is beautifully diverse and you are the sovereign authority on what is ideal for your body.
  • A generous few minutes at the end of each class in a fully resting quiet pose of your choice, allowing for integration of the benefits of our practice.
