Then this 5 week series is for you!
Join senior certified yoga teacher Anjali Budreski for a playful, welcoming, inclusive, informative
and transformative experience. Learn about why yoga is for everybody and not just for thin, flexible, 'spiritual' people.
My intention for this series (rather than being mundane or simplistic) is to share with you a rich and beautiful weaving of yoga knowledge from 25+ years of teaching and practicing yoga. This series is experiential.
Come each week ready to practice! We will slowly & mindfully dive into all the potent and powerful aspects of yoga including: Posture, breath, meditation, alignment, yoga philosophy & history, and the nuts and bolts of what to wear, bring and expect from a regular yoga practice. You can expect to leave each week feeling grounded, connected, inspired and equipped with potent yoga knowledge that goes beyond the physical poses.
Schedule (depending on the needs of our group):
WEEK 1: OPEN & RECEIVE:
Welcome, introductions, intro to yoga & yoga basics (like clothing, gear etc), honoring yoga's roots,
cultivating beginner's mind, the skillful arc of a class, PLUS a sweet basic yoga flow.
WEEK 2: GROUND & STABILIZE:
Introduction to warm-ups, simple standing poses and balances, and the core shapes of yoga. Approaching the practice
from a place of ease, clarity and safe harmonious alignment.
WEEK 3: FLOW WITH GRACE:
Learn about different styles of yoga, your own body & intuition as the best teacher, coordination of breath
and movement, trusting the flow on and off the mat, hip openers and cleansing twists.
WEEK 4: CULTIVATE A COURAGEOUS & COMPASSIONATE HEART:
Heart openers, safe and gentle backbends, neck and shoulders, forward folds, and developing your own warrior spirit
and the practice of self-compassion.
WEEK 5: TURN WITHIN, ATTUNE & INTEGRATE:
Exploring Restorative + Yin practice, inner listening, self-acceptance, integration of our series, Q & A, celebration!
Held In Person/ LIVE at Blossom
No Experience Necessary but YES you can attend this series even if you have been practicing yoga for a while and want to dive deeper into the basics or just want to be in a learning space.
