Gentle Flow and Restorative Yoga is a magical combination that brings deep balance and restoration to the nervous system as well as all other major systems of the body. Through experiential learning, we will dive into the art of teaching Gentle Flow and Restorative Classes. Gentle Flow and Restorative Yoga invites mindful movement and gentle activation of the body, which can help practitioners settle in and receive the many therapeutic benefits of longer held, restorative poses.
Course Objectives:
- Learning and practicing skillful flow transitions, postures and sequencing for Gentle Flow and Restorative Yoga.
- Sequencing and prop-use for Gentle Flow and Restorative Yoga.
- Psychology and Philosophy behind Gentle Flow and Restorative Yoga Therapeutics.
- Getting creative and more comfortable with leading guided meditation.
- Learning Breathing practices that support balancing the nervous system, deepen guided meditation and settling into postures.
