Intro to Yoga (IN-PERSON)

If you’ve never tried yoga before, taking your first class can feel intimidating. To help ease the stress and improve future class experiences, we’ve created an Intro to Yoga class designed specifically for beginners!

Our friendly and experienced staff will provide you with an introduction to yoga, teach you the benefits yoga, and help you understand what to expect when you walk into the studio. If you've been curious about how yoga can enhance your life, this class is a great first step.

During this intro class you will learn some of the "Do's" and "Dont's" for yoga class and your own yoga practice. Our instructor will help you find what type of yoga is right for you in order to create a safe and beneficial practice. You will sample the major styles, and from your preferences and background come up with what your next steps can be.

All the other participants will also be brand new to a yoga practice, so feel welcome to bring any questions and concerns to the class.

  • A basic understanding of yoga
  • What to expect in your first yoga class
  • What classes are suited for beginners
  • Basic yoga poses
  • Modifications for poses if you have any injuries or struggle with flexibility
