What and how we digest is the foundation of a healthy body in Ayurveda--whether its the food we eat, the emotions we process, or our environment we are perceiving. Learn the basics of what agni or digestive capacity is and tools to strengthen our metabolic fire!

This workshop includes:
  • Daily Pranayama (breathing practices) and asana that will support your digestion
  • Suggestions on daily routines to help you build a sustainable practice
  • Tips on how to maximize your kitchen ingredients such as herbs, spices, and tools to support your recipes for better digestion

Nishita Shah, CAP, C-IAYT, E-RYT500
While studying at the Ayurvedic Institute she had the great fortune to learn Ayuryoga with Vasant Lad, BAM&S, MASc. She received a 500 hour Ayuryoga certification and assisted in numerous Yoga Teacher Trainings. In her private practice, prior to joining the faculty at the Ayurvedic Institute, her work has been fueled by a passion for nutrition and yoga.
